Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are a healthcare provider, you must hold valid professional credentials and licenses in your jurisdiction.

Updates to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Our Services

Platform Description

Be Okay Healthcare provides an AI-powered healthcare management platform that connects patients with healthcare providers, facilitates appointments, consultations, and medical record management.

Not Medical Advice

The platform is a management and communication tool. AI-generated insights are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen issues may temporarily affect availability.

Section 3

User Accounts & Responsibilities

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access or security breach.

Accurate Information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

Healthcare Provider Responsibilities

Healthcare providers using the platform are responsible for the accuracy of medical records, diagnoses, and prescriptions entered into the system. The platform does not replace professional medical judgment.

Patient Responsibilities

Patients are responsible for providing accurate health information, attending scheduled appointments, and following prescribed care plans agreed upon with their healthcare providers.

Acceptable Use

Permitted Use

You may use the platform for its intended purpose of healthcare management, including scheduling appointments, managing medical records, communicating with healthcare providers, and accessing health insights.

Prohibited Activities

You may not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, transmit harmful code, impersonate others, use automated systems to scrape data, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

Content Standards

All content submitted through the platform must be lawful, accurate, and relevant to healthcare services. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards.

Section 5

Intellectual Property

Our Property

The platform, including its design, features, code, AI models, and content, is owned by Be Okay Healthcare and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By using the platform, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content as necessary to provide our services.

Feedback

Any suggestions, ideas, or feedback you provide about the platform may be used by us without obligation to compensate you.

Payment & Billing

Service Fees

Certain features of the platform may require payment. All fees will be clearly displayed before you commit to any paid service. Prices are subject to change with prior notice.

Billing

Payments are processed securely through our authorized payment providers. You agree to provide valid payment information and authorize recurring charges for subscription services.

Refunds

Refund policies vary by service type. Generally, unused subscription periods may be eligible for pro-rated refunds. Specific refund terms will be outlined at the time of purchase.

Limitation of Liability

Service Limitations

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated health insights or the outcomes of healthcare services facilitated through the platform.

Liability Cap

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Be Okay Healthcare's total liability for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Be Okay Healthcare from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or misuse of the platform.

Section 8

Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease, but medical records may be retained as required by law.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We will provide notice when reasonably possible.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases. Provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

Section 9

Governing Law & Disputes

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kigali, Rwanda.

Dispute Resolution

Before pursuing legal action, both parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation and, if necessary, mediation to resolve disputes. We are committed to fair and efficient resolution.
